You can apply this to any aspect of your life. If you feel like you’ve failed at something and you’ve stopped trying, you’re going to lose. If you stop going to the gym, you can feel live you’ve failed yourself, but the only way you fail is if you don’t keep trying to go back. A heathy lifestyle is a battle for many of us, but you’ve got to keep trying. The only time you’re a failure is when you quit trying.
We’re not talking about your typical suit obvi, but a bathing suit! It’s so hard finding a good bathing suit that’s flattering and comfortable, but today I want to share some of my favorite brands and styles with you! Shop some of my favorite brands below!
One of my favorite parts of blogging is being introduced to so many inspiring companies and people over the Internet. One of my recent inspirations is Headbands of Hope, for every headband they sell, a headband is given to a child with cancer. You’ve got to check out their site and show them some support!!
I feel like an acient Roman/ Greek goddess/ Spartan in this pant + shoe combo! These flowy pants are feminine while the black sandals are bold. I love pairing contrast colors and styles to create an eye catching look.
Little white dresses (LWD) are an important part of a complete Summer wardrobe. Finding a white dress that you feel comfortable in is another story. I try to stay away from anything very fitted or with too much material. The end goal with a white is to always look as skinny as I feel after being on the stair master for 45 minutes. It’s also to never stain it. Am I right?!
I really wanted to find a cool tee or blouse with stars all over it, or maybe even a jumpsuit – but it didn’t happen. SO, if you’re in the same boat as me and now you have nothing festive to wear over 4th of July weekend, then this look is for you! I purposely paired a muted denim top with white jeans, as you don’t want to look like you literally pulled any red, white or blue item you had out of your closet and melded them together to make an outfit. Subdued is better.
I hate screwing things up, but that’s always the best learning lesson. Feeling bad when you do something the wrong way is the best memory for the future. You become way more alert after you’ve failed at something. I’m personally very hard on myself so I almost always learn the first time around (almost). If you think you do everything right, either you’re being WAY to cautious or you’re actually screwing everything up and you really need to open yours eyes. So here’s to the lessons we’ll learn this Monday!
I hope the sneaker trend never ends, because this comfort is everything! I’m loving these Superga sneakers because with the platform they’re way trendy. Pairing them with this dress was the perfect balance between tom-boy and girly. I also wore my black Chanel bag because, there are no rules! The fun direction that fashion is taking is so exciting to be a part of and watch. Anything goes and I love that.
A cold shoulder top is the epitome of being in style and also comfortable. I love an off the shoulder top as much as the next girl, but the cold shoulder top allows for the look, but no strapless bra needed! Solid, right?! Yes. I also love the small ruffle that makes the blouse more girly and feminine.
Monday’s the perfect day to start manifiesting good vibes into your life. I’ll admit, it’s hard to be positive and to radiate good vibes all the time (I know I sure don’t, especially when in hungry LOL), but what matters is that you constantly try. You may not know where you’ll be in five years, but trust me, if you believe you’re headed to the top in whatever you’re doing, you’ll always get there.
A pop of color today! I think my favorite way of incorporating color into my looks is by using a pop of color against an otherwise neutral palette or a black floral print (which is kind of hard to explain so, example HERE old post HERE). Neutrals make it so easy to get dressed in the morning. Personally I find once I start incorporating colors I get a little lost (and also late to wherever I’m going).
